The Network Time Server 7540 is a 10 M-bit network interface boad for hopf GPS and
DCF77 radio contolled clocks.
The following time protocols are supported by TCP/IP:
- NTP Version 1, 2 und 3
- SNTP
- time/udp
The hopf network radio clock is a board which receives standard
world time information from the hopf GPS or DCF77 system and
makes this information available to computers, controllers and other equipment
needing correct time. So the hopf systems 6000/7000 are able to
transmit the correct time into computer networks.
The users don't require additional serial ports on their computers. All major units
and components of the network will be supplied with the correct time directly from
the net and can be synchronized.
There is time-clientsotware available for computers running under Unix, Aix, Linux,
IRIX, Windows NT, Windows 95/98, Win 3x, MAC, JavaOS. Although, units like routers
or network printers usually understand one of the above synchronisation mechanisms.
Important: The operation of the LAN-card is only possible if you have the
board FG720100, F722100 or FG724500.
